Precision piston rods are widely used connecting components that can be found in almost all mechanical products. Their commonly used materials include 45# steel, 40Cr, and 2Cr13, which require specific processing procedures such as electroplating and heat treatment to achieve the desired properties. These treatments enhance strength, surface hardness, corrosion resistance, wear resistance, and anti-seizure performance to meet various application demands. The heat treatment methods for precision piston rod materials are as follows:


  1. 45# Steel

    • Heat Treatment Process: Preliminary heat treatment → Low-temperature spheroidizing annealing → Quenching → Critical temperature quenching → High-frequency quenching

  2. 40Cr

    • Heat Treatment Process: Preliminary heat treatment → Stress relief → Quenching and tempering → Quality inspection

  3. 2Cr13

    • Heat Treatment Process: Preliminary heat treatment → Quenching and tempering → Stress relief → High-frequency quenching and low-temperature tempering
